The Convert Gmail to PDF extension is a free, safe, and easy-to-use app. It supports all Gmail view modes (no split, right of the inbox, below the inbox). It can also be used to extract the email date and create the archived name.
This app uses a local JavaScript library called jsPDF for all its conversions. This app does NOT send your documents to an external server for conversion as this violates the user's privacy.
